One fitting or the whole property?
Check whether other normally used taps have also changed. If the cold kitchen tap is affected, your water supplier may have information about a local interruption. If only the shower is weaker, explain whether the change was sudden or gradual and whether it occurs at particular times.
Look at the accessible parts
A damaged hose or build-up on the shower head may restrict flow. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions for removable external parts. Do not open an electric shower casing or remove controls to investigate internal components.
Hot, cold or both?
A change only on one side of a mixer can mean something different from a general reduction. Note any temperature variation, noises or displayed fault. Avoid repeated testing if the water becomes unexpectedly hot; stop using the shower until it can be assessed.
Match the repair to the equipment
Mixer showers, electric showers and different hot-water systems need different assessments. Swift Home handles suitable plumbing-side work, including electric-shower plumbing and service work. Gas work and general electrical work are not undertaken. Electric-shower plumbing and service work is available.
Prepare useful information
Send the shower make, model and a picture of the unit, plus the results of your observations. Mention whether other fittings are affected and whether anything in the plumbing has recently changed.
Arrange the next step
See shower plumbing repairs or discuss the plumbing side of hot-water fittings.
