Urgent work we can assess

Swift Home accepts enquiries about accessible leaking pipes, failed plumbing connections, overflowing cisterns and standard household sink, bath, shower or toilet blockages. Tell us whether water is still escaping and whether you can safely isolate it.

We are based in Ilford and cover the listed East London, North London and Essex areas. Being nearby does not guarantee immediate attendance. Call before relying on a visit.

What to do while arranging help

  • Stop using a fitting that is overflowing or causing leakage.
  • If safe, turn off the water at an accessible isolation valve or internal stop tap. Do not force a seized valve.
  • Keep clear of water near sockets, appliances or electrical equipment. Do not touch wet switches or a wet consumer unit.
  • Keep people away from bulging ceilings or unsafe affected areas.
  • Tell us about drain chemicals or attempted repairs before attendance.

Read our burst-pipe first steps. If someone is in immediate danger, call the emergency services.

Hours, availability and the emergency rate

Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Evening, weekend and emergency work can be arranged when available. We agree the applicable emergency rate and scope before attendance. There is no advertised 24-hour service or guaranteed arrival time.

A WhatsApp message or enquiry is not a confirmed booking. For an active leak, call and speak to us about availability. Scheduled care plans do not include emergency attendance.

Qualification and exclusions

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating. We do not undertake gas work or general electrical work. We provide standard household unblocking, not drain jetting, CCTV surveys or specialist sewer repairs.

What to tell us on the call

Your postcode, the fitting affected, whether water is isolated, any immediate hazards and who can provide access. If safe, photographs can follow the initial call. Hidden damage and making good may require a separately agreed scope.
